Difference b/w regular tailights and xenon for 2010 328i
Hello,
I am trying to decide if I should get my car with xenon lights. Since i am located in NYC I don't really need brighter lights. Do both lights have the corona rings? If anyone could provide a comparison photos I would be very greatful Thanks! |

Both have angel eyes, so take your pick. Xenons are worth a little extra, in my opinion.

And LED turn signals.
Go xenon they add a really high-tech look to the car, esp. when the blinker is applied.

The LCI halogen angel eyes do not pull double duty as DRL also. They only light up with parking lamps or low beams. The LCI xenons have angel eye DRLs which will stay on even in the daytime without parking lamps or low beams on.

I think they are worth the premium on the E90. I love mine. They are standard on the E92. Here's BMW's description:
Xenon Adaptive Headlight provide brilliant clarity of the road ahead and to the side at night and in conditions with poor visibility. The dynamic auto-leveling feature adjusts for varying passenger and cargo loads, helping to keep headlight glare out of the eyes of oncoming drivers. BMW Adaptive Headlights provide optimum road illumination around corners, thanks to an electromechanical control system that directs the headlights into and around the bend as soon as the vehicle begins cornering. |
