BMW Performance Suspension

Can anyone let me know if this is feasible on a car with tyres 235 front and 265 back? 19" wheels.

I know standard BMW is 225 front and 255 back for 19". I am afraid it will scratch inside. Thanks.

P.S. mine is a 320i E90.

Dun be stupid, 19" wheel for 320i is really really too much, can't imagine how slow your car when start-up and how much more the gas your car will be consumed >.<

My car is e90 320i....using 19" Breyton Race GT rims...with 235 front and 265 rear....I have never experience any scatching.....

I believe scatching inside or not is all about the offset of the rim......

By the way, it's not stupid at all to put on 19" on a 320i.......gas consumption maybe increase.....but the ride condition is excellent.....the car is slow anyway for a 320i.......i don't care.......hahahaaaa

Blackpig, surely you are not slow lar...

Renus, of course cannot compare with your DCT 335i... haha...

Back to the topic, echo'ing Blackpig, whether scratching or not depends on the offnet of your rims. I noticed you are using spacers, may be you can check with your workshop on the details.

If talking about ride condition, stock's size is the best as bmw has done a lot of test with different sizes of wheel lar, 19" on 320i is ONLY for outlook only

Thanks for the replies guys.

Yea my 19" are purely for looks haha. My car did become slower, i changed the Ignition coil and it did actualy help neglate that abit so its still SLightly slower than before, but its acceptable. I drive in HK and its all like mountain roads turns everywhere. Power aint matter too much in these places esp going downhill, so handling is the key. My 235 and 265 has such greatly increased the grip of my car already, but I want to install the BMW Performance Suspension and because the BMW standard is 225 and 255 I am worried that when I turn it will scratch (Front).

My spacers only go in the back. Theres like approx 2 finger gap at the back and front so i won't be worried about hitting the top chassis. Just the side scratching.

BTW, I have done some researches....

BMWHK is selling performance suspension at HKD 19700 including labour.......it only lower -15mm....

Sachs Advantage is selling around HKD 6000....which lower -30mm......

Although I don't care much about the speed and gas consumption.....but investing 20K on a 320i for suspension is still a bit too much........

mate thanks for the info. I think my rims are exactly same as urs. ur going to try low 30mm? That might scratch inside! i'm on stock suspension now too and im so scared pying 20K will scratch inside.

i know its alot but its suspension + springs + 2 anti roll bars and a year of warranty which i want.

and BMW stil ldoesn't know if my rims will fit and recons might scratch because its different size to their rims.......what u recon?

Enjoy your mods. I have a 320i too and look at my list of mods on it. I like you won't be getting a new car for the next 5-10 years so i am doing whatever i want on it. As for fitment, I have no clue, but better to check with BMW if you are having them install it for you.

Glad that we have some 320i owners here.....good to share info since 320i is minority among the folks here.......

I believe my rims won't have any scratching issues since Breyton is specialist to design BMW ONLY mod items......They have suspension, rims, exhaust, bodykit, etc......

So I don't think Breyton is stupid enough to design a set of rims will scratch the car after installed their own lowering suspension......

just my thought.....

I am also curious about the anti roll bar.....just wonder how it improves the handling and overall ride performance and condition.......

showing a range = they have their series with various offset, as well as various PCD to fit different cars, e.g. BMW is using PCD 120. are you still keeping your order and/or receipt where you may be able to find the specific offnet data for your rims?

good to have Mark and Blackpig "float up" for this thread...
