Turn off DTC/DSC completely (hold button for 4-5 seconds), brake boost and let her rip.

DSC/DTC both need to be defeated. Hold the brake, rev it up a bit, and off you go. The 328 isn't made to do burnouts though.

Oh, the poor runflats.
If you must try to burnout, be sure and put your car in M1 or DS mode as well as what others have recommended above with the non-DTC. I've turned some heads before doing this but do it VERY sparingly. I don't feel like replacing these expensive tires anytime soon.

Does that mean 335 dicks are free to post witty comments? The lame ass comments are reserved for non 335 drivers?
I could do a burn out in a $300 1984 Honda Civic wagon that I owned 10 years ago. I'm guessing if you give it your all, even a lowly automatic 328 can muster some wheel spin. |

I raced a 335i once. I won because his HPFP failed. The irony of it all!

anyways... if you manage to get all your 190 rwhp working right you should be able to get some kind of burnout done... with the electronic nannies off of course |

spinning your tires is very possible with brake boosting in a 328. Hell I could spin my tires in my 05 legacy with AWD and 170 HP at the crank

Granted the time to spin the wheels was probably all eaten by the turbo. I know that 2.5L has a oomph at the lowend when it's not spending all it's HP spooling the turbo. |

Yeah definitely. Could have been the shitty tires I had on it. Also regular legacys didnt have traction control in 05... not sure if the GTs did or not.

Even better if you buy special tires for that purpose.
KUMHO sells red smoke drifting tires [u2b]<object width="384" height="313"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/ChCs0ts72vw&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/ChCs0ts72vw&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="384" height="313" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>[/u2b] |
