What is a lower drop?
Which is a lower drop? the eibach sportline or the HR race springs? I ordered the Sportline springs and was wondering if anyone on here has them installed on their e90 and if they have any feedback. Ride quality?

Eibach Pro kit comes with the Koni FSD for a reason. Stock shocks will work well with a drop no more than the H&R Sport springs. Lower than that & your stock shocks (sport package or other) will fail rather quickly. I currently have the H&R race springs with Koni FSD shocks and the car feels "nearly" as comfortable as it had with the OEM sport suspension. |

I would imagine you'll be OK with the setup. I don't know of to many owners using the Eibach sportline (or using them with the OEM shocks for that matter). I would imagine the ride should be pretty good though. Lots less body roll!

I know that most owners installing aftermarket springs & keeping the OEM shocks usually limit themselves to no lower than the H&R sport springs. If what was mentioned about the Eibach sports being lower then I'd say you're taking your chances in staying with the OEM shocks.
If you're asking about "too low" as in clearance then that's going to be up to you. With race springs installed on my car I sit low, but not so low that I have any problems with clearance or rubbing. Are you changing tires/wheels? If so then what size? That would determine any rubbing issues you may or may not have. Just changing springs & nothing else? You shouldn't have any issues at all. Even with 19" wheels you should be fine. |

I'd like to see pics since most of what is pictured on this forum is either the H&R or Eibach pro springs. For the most part this is a pretty decent community. Lots of good information to be found & some to avoid ..... |

How many miles on your car? If it is anywhere near 50k I'd replace the OEM shocks at the same time. You will save a bundle on labor and alignment fees over having to do it twice!
