Power Driftin Possible with a auto 320i?
This is my first FR car and I'll be needing new tires soon (bought it used) so before I switch, I'm wondering if I even have enough power (2.0N/A ~150hp) to do some power drifts or donuts on a dry surface?
First of all, is it even possible with a steptronic? If so, how? Obviously I would deactivate all the safety stuff by holding down the DTC button for 3 seconds... but what else? Speed car to about 35mph and put the car in M1/M2 and initiate the slide with handbrake first? Obviously I will be doing this in a very open area with no people or pets around... maybe in a stadium parking lot or something... Inb4 telling me that I should of gotten a 335i... that thing cost $86K here! |

Agreed with this, with speed and a handbrake any car can start a small drift.
