Hi everyone)

Just want to ask the BMW experts here if there is a notable difference in the production dates of the 335?
The reason for enquiry is that I found a CPO 335 with 15k miles (premium, navi, active cruise, cold weather) with a production date of 09/2006 for $35k.
Are there any differences such as reliability between a 2006 335 and lets say 2008?

I don't think any 335's were made in 2006. But whatever the year a 335i was made in, you could be certain that the HPFP could let you down anytime!

The 07 model was manufactured beginning in 8/06 or 9/06, after the summer break. So this was a very early build. There are definitely differences between the early 07 models and the later 07 models, but I didn't pay close attention at the time. I think the early 07 models did not come with an oil cooler unless you got ZSP and a MT, but later builds came with the oil cooler either for all ZSPs or for all cars, I forget. I may be stating that wrong and there may be other changes as well, like the software that was pre-29.2 or whatever and had less lag. And obviously, there are more significant changes from the 07 or 08 to the LCI 09. Hopefully someone else here can clarify.

I stand corrected. I was thinking about model year rather than manufacture date.

I'm not sure if it's iDrive only, but the E9x did not receive the user-programmable hotkeys on the center dash panel until 3/07 production.
