Gave the car a bit of exercise this morning...

Had to visit a customer so decided to use the scenic route on the way back - over the mountain!

Location is the edge of the Brecon Beacons.

Weather got progressively better and was a great drive. Last time I did the road was in my Lotus....covered it quicker today, but not so "involved".

(sorry pics seem a bit big!)

Karlos - my car has evolved recently

Compare to the 320i??? Shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence!!!

320i engine, when working properly, is smooth....but thats about it imo..it sounds like a diesel at tickover, doesnt return good mpg, and needs to be worked hard to get any pace....

320d (177) is a great engine - quiet for a 4 cyl diesel - from anywhere other than drivers seat you wouldnt know its diesel. Goes very well while still good consumption. I run it on the company so has to be the best choice for cost effectiveness.

I took my M3 for a quick blast across there the other week just before I sold it, great bit of road.

I didn't realise you were that close mate, could have popped in for a coffee!!
