Yesterday what was perhaps the largest BMW GTG in the South Western Ohio Area took place in Cincinnati, OH (technically we were just across the river in Newport, KY...but you get the idea). Several forums including Bimmerfest, e90Post, as well as the BMW Car Club of America came together for an outstanding event. What better location for a BMW GTG than a nice German themed restaurant like Hofbräuhaus?

The GTG took up several of the parking lots near Hofbräuhaus - myself and John Rigano arrived early enough to get good parking - my silver e90 330i is pictured below next to the white M3:

Here's John's white 335i twin-turbo coupe - he done several cosmetic modifications:

We had a nice view of downtown Cinci while at the meet:

A local dealer was on hand and provided test drives of a brand new M3:

It was such a gorgeous fall day, I took the opportunity to walk over to the Newport Aquarium area to check out what was going on. I love the fact that you can usually find a live band playing in which you can enjoy while you eat at one of the many restaurants:

The only bummer of the event for me was that on the drive down from Daytona, I hit a piece of metal on the highway which punctured my tire. Fortunately, BMW puts run-flats on the 3 series, so I was able to limp back to Dayton after the GTG:
