we had a similar problem with the VK dp's... the flange that sits in the turbo is a tight, tight fit.... Just keep working at it. I know it's a tight space, but try twisting a bit with the exhaust bolts not connected to the dp's to give you some more wiggle room. Shoot me a PM if you think you might need some help... we're right in NJ, so not too far from u Good luck! Last edited by Alex@AKMotorwerk; 10-10-2009 at 08:53 AM.. |

Just keep trying at it, I had the same problem until I found out that the rear was hitting the bracket where you would screw the stock dps thus not letting the vk downpipe sit flush with the turbo housing...make sure the vk is not hitting anything in the back...thats my sugestion..

I had the same problem with the forward downpipe. I measured the flange diameter of the VK downpipe with a set of calipers and found out that it was .040 to .050 inch larger that the stock pipes. I used a file to to bring the diameter down and it slipped right in without a problem.

Defected? Did it sneak away to Havana or Moscow or something?
