Rear Air Vent Questions
Two questions:
1> the US Specifications, it mentions that the rear vents are temperature and volume controlled. This doesn't make sense to me. Does it automatically compensate for vent noise by increasing the volume in the rear cabin, or is there some kind of volume control in the rear cabin? 2> I see that the European versions of the 3 have an option to get two 12v power plugs right beneath the rear vents in the center console. Will the US versions get these? Thanks! nathan |

I think the temperature is set by the font seat passenger for the rear vents. The "volume" is not sound volume but air flow volume. I assume that means the rear air vents have a on-to-off adjustment control like the front air vents.

I think you can control the temp from the back seat. My acura MDX is sweet, i can turn the air condition on, set seat to warm and rear passanges can set what they want.

The "volume" of air is controled in the rear, but there is no actual "sound volume" control in the rear. I remember reading somewhere that the 2 12-volt power plugs are found on the inside of the rear armrest that folds down.
