Dear Members,

The Active Autowerke 335 Signature exhaust system is the leading exhaust system for the E90,E92, & E93 335. The system is completely bolt on and constructed out of 100% 304 stainless steel. The Active Autowerke Signature Exhaust system for the 335 boasts Dual 90 MM tips and all stainless steel hardware. This system increases exhaust airflow by over 35% and features a true X pipe design which increases the exhaust system’s scavenging affect opposed to most manufacturers who use simple H pipe designs. This full system bolts on to your factory downpipes (system includes connecting pipes, Xpipe, and dual rear mufflers), this system also features several adjustments points to allow for the addition of rear diffusers and an anti-flex design to assure proper fitment at all times (This is the only system on the market to features a bracket that connects the two mufflers together, bracket is not visible). The Active Autowerke 335 Signature exhaust system has been dyno proven to add an additional 15-22 RWHP and is a must for the true enthusiast.

is this replacing the current exhaust or is this an additional product that customers can choose to purchase along with your original exhaust?

Turbosid,

This is a replacement, unfortunately due to poor advertising on our end many customers didn't realize that our previous system was also a complete exhaust system, We made a few minor changes inside the muffler pans as well as making the system bolt on. We have been testing this system for the past couple of months we some of our partners and are pleased with the results. I will have a dyno posted soon..

Regards,

Dang now I've got the outdated version. Is there any difference in performance between the two? I'm afraid to ask haha

Regards,
Omar, would you clarify please?

How was the old system not bolt on if it also was a complte DP back exhaust (I thought this was the case)?

So the only differences between gen 1 and gen 2 are a difference in muffler design (internal?) and it is now "bolt on"?

The old one required that you cut the stock exhaust just before the downpipes and create a little slipjoint. I actually ended up having to weld mine because the installer cut it short and it wouldn't seal quite right. No biggie.
