Can I buy, or even RENT your wheels/tires? I'm desperate...
Fellow BMW enthisiasts,
Yesterday, I went out to Fall Line Motorsports to get a set of performance brake pads and stainless steel brake lines put on my BMW 335i for an upcoming High Performance Drivers Education at Road America this weekend. On my way home, I hit a pothole, blew out the tire and bent the front right rim. I brought it back to another shop at Autobahn Raceway (Midwest Eurosport, those guys are awesome) and they said they would get the rim straightened out, but it would take three days. I leave Friday evening. I need a set of wheels and tires to go racing on. I'd like to buy a set of OEM BMW wheels. I would prefer to have a set of 189's (that's what I've had my eye on the last few weeks), but wouldn't mind a set of CSL replicas (V710's or the like) or OEM 230's. If you have rubber I can bring to the track, all the better. If they're naked rims, I'll have rubber put on Friday morning. (I work a 24 hour shift at the fire house tomorrow and will be unavailable.) Alternatively, if you have a front wheel with a OEM runflat I could buy, or even rent for the weekend, I would praise your name to all the Saints. I need a 225/40/18 Brigestone Potenza R 050A run flat. Try to help me out, I've already spent close to a grand trying to get to this event, and it's the first event I'm going to with my Uncle with since my father died. (We all used to race together years ago with PCA.) I've been planning this for 6 months. OEM wheels from BMW are stupid expensive. Can someone help me out?? Thanks, Dan P.s. I'm hesitant to put my number on a public forum, but if you like, you can call me at: seven 08, two 84, -000 nine.

Getting more desperate. Turns out the guy supposed to fix my rim had a problem and can't repair it. He also doesn't have any exchangeable wheels. I'm getting desperate. I'm supposed to leave in 7 hours and have a wheel with a hop in it. NOONE has a stock 335i front wheel sitting in their garage you would let me use for two days for $100 bucks? I'll leave you references and a deposit...
I just bought a set from a guy in California and would be buying a $450 wheel to use for a week.
