Mobile phone from Hong Kong or Singapore?

I still haven't bought the Nokia E71 I want and wondered if it's worth looking in HK and Singapore when I'm there next month.
Does anyone have any personal experience
Are they all fakes?
If not - where do I go to look?

With current exchange rates electronic goods in Hong Kong are pretty much the same price as UK plus you lose all your consumer rights, limited warranty etc. in my experience it is not worht while.

I was in Singapore and Hong Kong earlier this year and didnt see any real price benefit other than on some dodgy looking market stalls. Better to buy here.

Cell phones in HK are expensive!!! Some people there would spend most of their income just to keep up with the latest model. It's very weird.

Guess it's a non starter then.
I don't want to pay much for a phone as my deal with T-mobile ends in about 7 months and I'm going to move to O2 and I'll get an upgrade then.
I need to port my number so I suppose I'll just have to put up with the U600 for a bit longer - ah well!!
