No ticket in mail

I got a tint ticket on my way to San Diego for Labor day Weekend and I got the front tint removed and signed off. the officer that signed off my ticket told me to just wait for ticket in mail. It has been a month and no ticket in mail. anybody had a similar experience or had to wait a long time to get their tint ticket in mail?

how did you get it signed off if you never got the ticket in your hand in the first place?

you are required to sign it off behind the ticket for the tint.. you usually get the courtesy notice. sometimes courtesy notice with ticket, if the officer never handed you the ticket.

I have gotten 2 front plate and 2 tint tix, and never have I received anything in the mail, but whenever I call the court clerk, they have them on record. So I would just send in your ticket and a check, but make sure to make a photocopy of your signed ticket.

You call the court, who's number should be on the ticket, and give the clerk your citation notice and they will tell you.

due date says on the ticket.

on the front it says "WHEN: ON OR BEFORE THIS DATE"...

officer should have written a date.... if not maybe he forgot or something... newb

This happened to me a while back. I got a ticket for no plates in April, got it signed off the next day, but never got a courtesy notice. When I called in about the ticket, they were unable to look up my information because they claimed the ticket was not in the system yet, and thus, I was not allowed to pay. I had to come in on the day of the deadline and explain my situation. They extended my deadline by about a month. Well, a month came by and guess what... still no ticket in the system, so I got another extension. I finally paid my ticket sometime in late June. The delays were due to the officer making several mistakes when he wrote me the ticket (date and violation code, to be exact).

I hope this isn't the case with you, cause it was a PITA

i keep calling each week. apparently it takes 1-2 months for them to process the citation and put it into their system, and after that you can pay it online if thats available for that court/by phone/in person.

but that due date will be extended once they've processed the citation
