Unreal MPG

Did i hit a record or something? lol, I meant to post these a while ago but forgot.
I was driving through Dallas back to mexico for work and varied between cruise
control and my own speed. I looked down and noticed o was past 50, and i was
thinking how? and it just claimed up.

Now i wasn't even driving ultra efficient cause at time i was doing 100, its a long trip,
a boring drive, and there are very few cars on these road, cause i'm not a rude driver.

Is this common on trips? i usually keep it on gas count down cause looking a mpg is
annoying to watch cause it usually not the number you want. To me this further proves
the mpg is wrong cause i remember filling up and mpg count down being ultra high.

That was average SPEED in MPH. Not quite miles in a gallon. Sorry to bust your bubble.

The photos you posted are of your average speed, not fuel consumption. MPH vs MPG. Explaining why, while driving 100mph, it kept climbing.

I'd imagine that's your confusion?

My bro drove from Omaha to D.C. in his 08 E92 got 38mpg. I did the count the gallons to fill up, and divide by miles driven method to check my (E92) cars computer estimation. I found the car to be pretty accurate and sometimes it figures slightly low.
