X3M in 2012!

Consistent with release of the X5M & X6M, BMW will bring to market the X3M, in model year 2012. Around 400 HP!

I need it more than the 2 larger brothers.

What we don't need is posts from people that don't like the car in the first place!

How about a X3 with the 35d engine instead.

That is a given as the new model comes to market.

The N55 will be the turbo gas motor, so 400 HP is easy with a tune regarless!

How about fixing the current X3 and making it with a halfway decent ride and without the AT issues?

Now THAT would be useful. If they haven't fixed these things in 6 model years, who the heck believes they can fix it period?

I am going with the theory that BMW can't make a tall car or doesn't really want to...hard to say.

I would concur with that. I'm thinking of replacing my X5 with the new X3.

nope new X3 is only going to be about 2-3 inches longer than the current X3. The X5 will still dwarf it.

His avatar shows a first gen X5, that is why I said they will be close in size.
