New BT Code: 2E69 Knock sensor signal 2

I did a search, looks like no one has seen this code yet. Is it just bad gas? I am on JB3 v1.3 on the first occurance I was on Map 5, on the last 2 I had JB3 to map 0.

If it's low octane gas (I almost always use Shell - We have 93 Octane in Ohio) What is the remedy? put some octane booster in the gas tank?

Edit: I see that these are recurring codes... Have you asked Terry to see what he has to say about it?

?

25 miles between event 1 and event 2
20 miles between event 2 and event 3?

Voltage knock value is high in cyl 6 which is the hottest.

24944 miles - 24872 miles = 72 miles.

I thought that value (kms) was kilometers, that the value with miles after it was miles?

15479 - 15454 = 25?

What am I seeing wrong? 24872 km = 15454.744 mi.

What would clearing the codes do? I was going to leave it there for the dealers to see but i can.

it might just've been a hiccup, if you clear the codes and they don't return all is well. If they return you know it's not just a "hiccup"

The alternative is to run the car for a bit and see if a new mileage item appears.

Physical knock sensor codes have nothing to do with engine knock or tuning/mapping but instead indicate an electrical problem with the sensor. Possible wiring issue but most likely just a bad sensor. Leave the codes in and dealer it.

Talk to your tuner. You don't want to see any knock/knock sensor related codes. Ever.

Thank you all for the advice !

changed sparks (wanted to change anyway) and nothing happened, ordered a new knock sensor from my dealer and installing this week, hope limps will be gone forever.

It happens even on stock and even in 3rd (even during city runs, never before !), before was rare and happened in 4th or 5th just in WOT conditions.

I get also some other codes (DPfix v3 set to 11(max) !!! )

2F6C:
2F6C Exhaust fumeflap, input signal
Error will not cause a warning light
Error is currently present
Test conditions have been completed
Timeout

Freeze Frame Information
Odometer 23704kms 14728miles
Speed 64.00 km/h
time since start end 972.80 s
pedal sensor 1 18.36 %
voltage Kl. 87 13.81 V

2E69:
2E69 Knock sensor signal 2
Error will not cause a warning light
Error is currently present
Test conditions have been completed

Freeze Frame Information
Odometer 23712kms 14733miles
Engine speed 3,488.00 rpm
air mass measured 176.00 kg/h
voltage knock values cylinder 6 0.27 V
voltage knock values cylinder 4 0.27 V

3100:
3100 boost-pressure control, deactivation Error will not cause a warning light Error is currently present Test conditions have been completed

I know 3100 means the limp mode and 2F6C it might be from golf tee "mod".

Everytime I get this code just for cyl 4 & 6, it might be also triggered by the air mass or just voltage ?

I have my meth installed already, turbo upgrade and LSD ordered and can not move on because of this fckn sensor or whatever it is ....

I called my service advisor and left him a voicemail. I guess I did take the car in and they fixed it. I'll let you know when they call me back.

Ok, after a couple of voicemails and finally staying on hold for a while, i talked to the guy.

They replaced both my knock sensors and cleared the codes. My knock sensors were bad.

Problem fixed.
