Noob Question about Exhaust
So I'm looking into a number of cat-less exhausts and I'm wondering if I will be able to pass a TX state inspection with one. Anybody able to fill me in on this one. I've paid off techs before and just don't want to go throught the hassle if I don't have to. Thanks in advance, JC

as long as it doesnt throw a code i wouldnt care. in texas, afaik, on OBDII cars they plug in the scanner and run the test that way. noway a scanner would pickup you have a different exhaust. hell i have an exhaust with X pipe and have no issue...now my straight pipes on the other hand...lol

On my M3, I'm pretty sure I'll have no choice but to temporary put my stock x-pipe back on since I won't have any silencer to put in place. |
