I like it - but it's not THE e90 mtech shift knob.

The REAL one is in perforated black leather

compare to stock, is it shorter and is it heavier than the stock piece? Maybe your pic does not give this knob justice but I don't like it, too much blingbling going on with this knob for me.

This is an OEM shifter not a replica or any fake a** crap

i guess i'll post an update when i get it...

I looked heard and strong for another shifter but this one matched the interior the best ... plus there's a nice m in the middle...$100 CAD

i like the bling on it, looks sweet. i wouldn't mind having one if i had a manual.

it goes well with the slight chrome accents on the ashtray as i have the aluminum trim

All that matters is YOU like it. It will be hot to touch though on those hot days. It is a nice looking knob.

this stock knob is not illuminated. i first saw it in UK when the z4 was released many years ago, e39 m5 had a similiar knob but with added illumination.
