I-Phone update

i tunes is asking me to update to 3.0.1 is this good? and will i lose any data

Do it...you wont loose any data plus itunes backups your phone before the update anyway. I think this update is to cure some stability and/or iphone hack issues.

clicked downloan and unstall and not much else has happened? how to check its on there? and how long is it supposed to take?

Its probably downloading the software to your itunes...look for downloads on the left. I can't recall how long it took...I imagine around 10-15mins.

Yeah its downloading to I-tunes!! How come the phone still works? (mate just rung me?!)

Is it not on the phone yet then?
