Looks good but you've got to paint those hubs.

Paint hubs, clean wheels on inside and sort some chrome tips for the tailpipes.

Oh and some blackline rear lamps.

Surely the 325i should have them as standard?

You just have bare steel pipes??

That's just not on. If you measure the outside diameter of your pipes, I'll do mine and we'll see if the 330 chrome tips will fit. They just slide on. Easy.

My 325dse came without the chromed tips.

The advertising literature stated it should have had them.
I complained, plus had another problem with the car, and the dealer fitted them as 'goodwill'....

Replacements have just been quoted for -accident damage- at £25 each + VAT!!

So I might have a couple going cheap shortly.....

You need some finer grade paper now and then a metal polish to finish them off.

PS -Have you got mats for your car wheels?

Somewhere I've seen a matt that prevents flat spots on performance tyres like one would use if their car weren't being driven regularly. I thought of getting a set but they're a bit expensive. I'd rather drive regularly.

I think all of the 6 cylinder engines come with either chrome or brushed aluminium tail pipe covers from new. So it has in fact been modded.

Lovely car, looks great as it is. I would do chrome tips on the exhausts tho. Sets the car off nicely imho and cheap as chips and easy to fit, clean.
The tips will appear shinier, bulkier and eliminate the sawn off plumbing look to the pipes.
If mine, i would also get it detailed, or machine polish it. That colour should come up absolutely beautiful for an outlay of £300 quid.
Cant beat a 6cyl petrol. Enjoy your car.

Thanks guys, think I will eventually get the chrome tips. Enjoying car its a great drive, very quiet untill you get over 4000 RPM and then has that wonderful straight six noise....
Best news so far is its doing 32MPG !!! And I aint a slow driver.
The paintwork has a few marks, but i'm slowly going over it with a cut back polish and then 3M handglaze, coming up lovely.
The wheels I am cleaning off the car, looks like they have never been cleaned on the inside so its taking a bit to get the grime off, but the result is good. Hubs will get painted as I go along. Leather interior still looks and smells like new, even though car has just turned 50,000miles.
