Really happy with how my a$$ looks now:

That's all for now, hope you enjoyed them...

Yeah, they worked out well. With the car parked I pushed the ramps all the way under the tires, so the tires were pretty much already engaged onto the ramps. Put the blocks there as backup, but car went up onto ramps perfectly, and probably could have gone up without the blocks there. Those ramps have a good rubber patch underneath in the front.. I also put one behind a rear tire in addition to have the parking break on, just as a precaution..

Only problem with the ramps is that underneath the car there was only an inch or two between my face and the belly pans - I wish there was more clearance. Getting in and out from under the car was kind of awkward, it would be nice if there was some more room and I could get one of those boards with wheels on it.. It all worked out well though, and the car is running like new again..

I was at 10K miles, it was running like crap (I do push my car hard). First free oil change isn't until 15K or March. I recently moved much closer to where I work, so I won't be putting on mileage like I was before. Waiting until March with how it was running wasn't acceptable to me. It is running 200X better now, very very glad I got it done..

At least at my BMW dealer, and it may be this way for all of them, they won't change your oil until you have 15,000 miles on your car. I took my X3 in early for the yearly maintenance and they wouldn't change the oil until I hit 15k. They changed all the filters and recapped the windshield wiper fluid, but no oil until 15k. Apparently they do this so that all their cars get the same oil change at roughly the same time, and never early.

It looks different... Now on the top it is clear across the top, red underneath, instead of a red "L" shape with a clear part in the upper inside corner. One of the main reasons I did it too was to get the amber turn signal, which I find much more visible than blinking red..
