Talking New member

Hey fanatics, after a few weeks of trying to figure out why i couldnt post, i got it figured out. Enough about that.

Anyways, my name is Dave and owned an 04 E46 325ci, slightly modded and was pretty active on E46Fanatics. I purchased the E46 in 06 and shortly there after the 335i was released. Needless to say, i kicked myself in the kisser and regretted my purchase.

Fast-forward to July of this year.

Took E46 to the dealer for the oil service and found out my maintenance warranty and CPO warranty expired. Decided to go ahead with the service and walk around the lot to kill some time. This was a bad move, and will explain why later.

Silly ol me wandered over to the 335s as it would be the only car i would consider buying as i was tired of the blistering 184hp in the current car.

Stumbled upon an 09 AW/CB E90 sitting on the lot with 7k on the clock.

Well i ended up driving it home.

Best financial move for me at the moment since im trying to save and buy a condo? Absolutely not. But now i have a car i absolutely love and has all the options i wanted (cept idrive) but no big deal. Well worth it.

So now i own an 09 Alpine White 335i sedan with Chestnut brown interior, PDC, Sport package, Heated seats, Autofold mirrors, Bluetooth, iPod integration, wood trim. I would have went for a 6mt if they had it, but the Autos in the 335s are light years ahead of the old e46 steps and like the paddle shifters. I really didnt care for the wood grain in my old car, but it seems to flow well with this interior combo. And FWIW, i absolutely love the sport seats! Anyways, onto the pics.

Old car, 04 325ci, Tiag on black, 95k on the clock.

Comments are welcome. Im just glad to be the one I envied when i had my old car. No mods really planned, except for tint, and JB3 is installed already.

That looks awesome. Those wheels on the AW E90 are fantastic! The E46 looks clean as well, clearly you have good taste.

Congrats on the new car and welcome!

sweet! i grew up in vegas myself. Folks still live there and will be heading out that way for a visit before i deploy overseas.

Nice to have parents close by, so i can put the car in the garage.

Nice. I like the chestnut but it doesn't get along with the wood trim well imo. Other than that, my pre-LCI is jealous of your car's non-ugliness.
