How to...

Do a burnout in an e90 325i?

I put it in fun mode(traction control off) and put it in DS and floor, but still not even a single screech. What needs to be done to get a little noise?

so gathering from the ds, u have a steptronic auto car.
bad news, u cant rlly do it as easily as a manual would be able to.

heres how u could do a straight burn out (from ewiki)
-Lightly hold down the brake with your left foot.
-Push the accelerator until the car moves forward a tiny bit.
-At the same time floor the gas and press the brake harder.

or you could do a dougnhut in an empty parking lot by going into 1st gear (downshift in ds) and then start driving in a slow circle with traction control off and hammer on the gas. this way, the rear tires will lose traction and then u can hear the tires squeal.

have fun, but drive safe. dont endanger anyone's life.

No luck with burnouts. Seems you would need to really stress the tranny with a brake start, then see if it works, perhaps on a slick road. Just stick with the doughnuts!
