Blackberry Curve 8900 not displaying contacts
I have a Blackberry Curve 8900 software v4.6.1.109 with Cincinnati Bell. Bluetooth connectivity to IDrive (Feb 2008 build date, progman v29 I believe)works fine except for contacts (phone list).
When pairing the phone, all contacts - I have 20 or so - transfer fine and are available for dialing. However, after shutting the car off for 30 min or more (letting IDrive really shut down) bluetooth connectivity resumes except when pulling up the phone list IDrive diplays "No entries available." Anyone get this error before? I had a RAZR previously with no issues. I also know that the BMW site specifies that the 8900 they tested for compatability was for T-mobile software v4.6.1.114 but I can't imagine that minor a revsion # could be what's making the difference.

I've now managed to get my contacts to display in the iDrive phone list but I have to perform the following exact sequence:
1. Bluetooth on the phone must be off before starting the car 2. Once the car is started and iDrive powered on, then activate bluetooth on the phone. Bluetooth on the blackberry must then be deactivated after leaving the car so that the above sequence can be repeated next time I use the car. This is still very much a hassle, but on the bright side it will force me to keep BT turned off to save battery life on the phone. I'd still very much welcome any suggestions to get this working "as it should".

you might have to give the phone and car time to pair up. i dont have the iDrive and i have an 8703 blackberry so might be completely different, but i have to wait for my contacts to pair up to the car. Usually only takes about 30 seconds, but it eventually works, and i have 200 contacts in my phone.
