HELP- having a problem with the clip that holds my DRL bulb

hi,

today i was installing my GP Thunder H7 DRL bulbs on my e90. when i took the oem bulb out the clips that hold the bulb in place pushed back further then they should have. so, when i put my new GP Thunder bulb in, the bulb wouldnt stay in place because the clips wouldnt click in.

ive tried for over an hour to figure out a way to fix the clips that hold the light bulb but i cant think of anything.

does anyone have any idea as to what i should do? i really need help on this one lol

that bulb is the most stupid design possible..... the top tab is what actually holds the bulb in place. i would try to install the bulb with the top in at first, then push it to clip into the bottom 2.

Its a huge pain, i know
