335i @ My Dealer Today!

Well I originally posted after seeing 328i Coupe that I did not care for it.
Well, I take it back...BMW has major hit with the new Coupe!

John Holtz here in Rochester , NY has following in stock today!

335i Space Gray/Red Interior & Gray Poplar which is unreal FANTASTIC!
Manual * Sport Package & Believe Premium Package?
Those that ordered this combo sit back & relax you will have a unreal car!

335i Sparkling Graphite/Black Interior not many options but still very nice!

335 Titanium Silver/Black Interior not many options but very nice!
No Sport Package * Stepronic/Paddle Shifters

No I did not drive any, I have 335i Sedan on order.
Last thing I wanted is to have to cancel my order again.

Bottom line 335i looks flawless in all 3 colors and you will all love it!

Ya I know pictures, will see if I can get some tomorrow?

Best of luck with all your new cars whatever they are!

P.S. Cream Interior should be a hit especially with the dark colors.
I bet the Red * Green * Monaco Blue will really look sharp!

If I were building a coupe, that would be a strong contender!

Might be a candidate for a 'pimp'mobile too...the first car I ever bought myself was white with red interior...every girl I had in it commented on whether I was a ladies man or something...

That being said if the sedan had offered it I would have got it!

Not in the US they don't!
Very few dealers have the 335i in yet.
Especially dealers with very little allocation.

Did you order 335i from John Holtz? If you did who was your sales advisor?
I had bad luck trying to order mine in 2003. They would not order me 330i for ED for 1k over invoice, so I end up buying it from New Motors Erie, PA

What changed your impression from the 328 to the 335? They look very similar so esp. in the same color combination, there would be little differentiation.

Maybe I did not care for it in black & non sport package "Wheels".
Dual exhaust gives it way better look from behind or does 328 have & didn't notice

Slightly off-topic but how does a dealership increase its allocation?

Hello everyone,
I'm new to e90 post, but have been reading rants and raves for a whie. I felt compelled to sign up this moriing after an early morning run to BWM of Sterling in the Northern Virginia area where I found four 335i's lounging in the aftermath of "Ernesto". Mostly just drizzle at this point, but it made the cars look amazing with the water beading off of them.

I am planning a trip to pick one (2008 335i) up next fall via ED. For those who have considered it and passed, I beg you to excercise patience and go through the program... there is nothing better to a real enthusiat. The tour is amazing and once you head out the door of the garage, it's nothing but open road to explore. My last trip took me 2500 miles through Italy with unmatched exuberant driving. Sorry to get off topic, but it truely is un unreal experiene for those subject to the limits of US laws. It's a yerar away and I'm already freakin out! Seeing the car this morning is bringing it all back.

....back to the 335i....
(1x) Space gray
(2x)Titanium SIlver
(1x)Alpine White

(1x) 328i Black
(1x) 328i Sparkling Graphite

So far my faviorite is the Space Gray. I will have to wait and see how it translates in normal sunlight with no water beading off of it, but this morning it was a clear winner to me. Just enought contrast to set off the lines and not so dark that it would be a pain to keep clean. My second and perhaps what will end up being my favorite is the TItanium silver. Only sunlight will prove my thoughts wrong or right.

There is no question the 335i rear end is better in person. after seeing the 328 (Black) last week I was a bit dissappointed, but in a lighter color, and with the twin exhaust tips, that s--t was on fire.

No nav to be found and I think everyone would expect at this point, but the coral interior is awsome looking, not for me, but nevertheless, awesome looking. I'm hinged to the Black with the Dark Burl or light Poplar. Not a big fan of the aluminium so far. The interior is classy and refined, but still sporty and very form fitting. I loved my 2003 cic's interior and was sad to see it go, feeling the new body and interior would never meet my expectations. I am axnious to get a drive in one next week. I am sure it will only confirm my freakish anxiety to get through this year quickly!

Sorry no pics. I may drive out again tomororw morning and snap a few for giggles.

I can't wait to hear from everyone who gets delivered next week. Let the fun begin!

Well, increase volume of sales is accurate. If they sell out of the 335i coupes, there DM can allocate more cars for them, a dealership cant just order more. It also depends on their CSI score in sales and service if they can get more cars.

In regards to the original post, all of the dealerships will be getting those cars.
