Has the E92 been officially released? Saw one on road

I was driving in NYC today and was passed by an Alpine White E92 (328i) that had temporary tags. It was purchased at a NJ dealer so it had that "21 day non resident permit" taped in the rear window.

I have seen quite a few pictures in other posts of cars that either had no tag or manufacturer tags. But this one seemed to be an actual purchased car.

p.s. I thought it looked nice in pictures, but its even better in person.

This past weekend I saw two 328i's at my dealership.

So far most cars at dealership were 328i no 335i have made it to the lot.

I guess I should clarify. The car I saw was not at a dealership. This was not a manufacturer tag. It was already registered and being driven on public roads on Wed, August 30th.

But as someone else mentioned, it wasn't a 335i, but a 328i.

My local center sold their 1st black E92 328i yesterday.

yea, the show cars that the dealers received were available for purchase. i went with my friend to check them out, both where already sold the first day haha, and yea there taking orders too.

(2) 328's already on the lot and (2) 335's due to come in tomorrow over @ Valencia BMW.
