Good deal on 2009 328 Sedan?
Hi guys,
What do you guys think of this package/price (in Toronto): 2009 328i Sedan Space Grey Metallic on Black Dakota Leather Sports Package Premium Package Executive Package Automatic 53K on the road... (there is a 3K bmw credit on right now, and that's included in the 53K)... I think it's a great deal, but want your input. Thanks, |

not bad considering the car is full loaded, but you might want to reconsider whether or not you need all those options...

lease/finance or purchase?
I think the car with all the options you listed should be around 59K out the door MSRP. Very good deal if you're leasing/financing good/fair deal if you that's a cash purchase price. Btw, I just got a 335i few weeks ago. the new navi/idrive for $2000 is well worth it! Much faster and much more responsive control compare to the older ones, plus you get a 12GB built in harddrive for music. I test drove one without idrive, and the interior just seems to be missing something without a screen in there. I'd definitely take the navi option instead of the premium package (which is really just the dakota leather anyway) or the executive package. |

328i sedan space grey sports premium executive manual (wont let me put auto with sports pack) Comes to $48.300 , even add auto with pedal shifting (1.7k) it will come out to 50k. So no. I dont think its a good deal. I dont know if you are leasing or not but if u do you can take 7% of 50.000 for sure. Now, I got 328i base. I wanted options but couldnt afford it since i was going for 323 originally. From my pesonal experience. Im not trying to dis no1 but sports pack is overrated. I drive my friends 335 sports coupe all the time and I do feel a little difference between the sports seats but its not mind blowing. I like my seat just as much. I do like how low his coupe sits but then again I will be changing my springs + rims anyway. I feel that Navi is way better option to get then Sports pack. Also, why on earth do you need Executive Package ? $2,500 Includes: Alarm System, Universal Garage Door Opener, Comfort Access, Lumbar Support, Burl Walnut Wood Trim, Park Distance Control (rear sensors only). Do you really need that crap? Dude I much rather add those 2.5k to sports pack and get myself an M package or get Navi pack instead of Executive.

p.s
e90 335 MSRP $48,900 for base and it already comes with sh1t load of options. I mention i drive my friends 335 allot. Even tho I luv my 328, those turbos put a smile on my face and keep it there as long as i press the gas pedal. If you can afford 335 then go for it. Even if it means less options. Trust me it will be all worth it. I think 328 is a quick car and i thought I would not need/want more power but damn. The 335 will change you mind.

Not sure about sport, but m-sport steering wheel is much nicer than the standard one. 7% off MSRP is not a lot if you are counting in the free auto ($1600) and $1000 credit BMW Canada is offering. |

you might want to price 335 with sports only
might be close enough - i know i went that route and found that i did not need premium since 335 already has many options |

Yes, it's with all taxes and fees... out the door price...
BMW Canada doesn't offer the free automatic anymore, but there is a $3,000 Factory incentive (which is a better deal than free auto anyways in terms of dollars)... I wasn't going to get the Exec. package at first, but basically, I was told that they have finished building 2009 cars (or at least, the ones being built didn't match my options, and it was too late to alter them).... Also, apparently there are no sport packaged cars without premium left at the dealerships or being built (which is fine, because my wife wanted the leather and I wanted bluetooth). Long story short, stepping "up" to the Metallic colour (from Alpine White), and adding the Executive package resulted in an overall increase (including taxes) of $2,900, and a car that was available... |

go on bmw.ca and check for urself. how much with which options, etc.
from the experience. I really thought 328 would be more then enough for me. I WAS WRONG. Go take 335 for a spin.

CCC says there's a $5k incentive for cash purchases on the 335, vs 3500 incentive on 328. Both have a $3k incentive if you're financing. For a loaded 328 you're well into 335 pricing, esp with the additional $1500 for a cash purchase. Don't drive a 335 if you don't want to second guess your 328 decision ;-0

Well, I ended up pulling the trigger... I'm just waiting for the confirmation of the item...
As I said, there are no more being factory built, so that's done... Also, as jhataki mentioned, 328i with Sport Package+Premium is incredibly hard to come by... So in the end, I got 6% off MSRP (yes, I know, not quite the 7%), but add to that the 3K savings, brings the savings up to roughly 12%... Final price (before all the taxes and fees) is $44,250 CDN... Damn those taxes and fees though! |

Are the 6-7% off MSRP after or including the rebates from manufacturing?
What kind of deal do you think I can get for a 335i with M-Sport package Auto Navi Would i get better deals if I wait till the fall? I don't really need a car right now...by the end of the year I will need one. Looking to lease the car....Would it be possible for a less than $900 tax included lease payment per month? on a 39 months with zero down? |

Also, I think IF you can find a car that suites your needs, now is the time to get the best deal, as they are trying to clear out the '09 models to make room for the '10s... In general, from what I've read, you won't be able to get as good a deal when the new model is just coming out... |
