seen enough in this thread to know the retractable hard top seams will be visible from the side of the car...ruins the clean lines of the car IMO.

It's amazing what some people can do with photoshop.

I like the image with the top on. With the top down, I feel the cabriolet looks a bit long and strange (like a few others have commented). Looks more like a station wagon with the roof cut off than a coupe convertible.

Looks like a newer version of the E46 to me.

I have to agree with you, the seams ruin it for me, and if you see the test car, the cut out lines at the back

The E93 will probably look better in darker colours

Its just a trunk line. You still have them on the E92. They are just on the top of the trunk, rather than the side.

Are you all really that concerned about the lines?

Besides a convertible is intended to have the top down

I agree that the convertible should have its top down, when I had my E36 328i cab my roof was never up!
I don't know if its just the design of the car or what, but on other Hard top conv the fold lines etc dont stand out as much

I'm probably just being fussy, im sure that the official pic and the real thing will look amazing

And this baby will set you back with almost $48k in the US for the base model. Should we take the 08 M3 coupe instead of the 335 convertible ?

Americans are so lucky - the cars are so much cheaper over there! Base model 335i coupe costs you $41,265 on the road, whereas the same car costs us people in the UK $63,534!! (xe.com conversion)

$48k is well cheap!

I'm not bitter at all

I think the lines do look a bit odd but i want to see the finished car before i make any true judgements - it'll definitely look great in black regardless

That's the first thing I thought when I saw the first picture with the coupe's B-pillar still in place, and the other picture with the top being raised in that mechanically painful-looking position. Wrong trunk seams too.
