Question about tuning
Okay,
So i don't want to start a war, but there have been may discussions about different tuning software and "reflashes" out there and I was curious if I could get some questions answered. I am looking at both JB3 and Vishnu and just curious if anyone went from one to another? I had a turbo rsx and I had hondata kpro which was amazing and made the car a totally different car. I know this is a bad topic, but can someone just give me a rundown of both units. I have searched but there are so many mixed reviews, just need help haha |

Searching is the best as you need to read a lot as there is a lot of bias out there
There have been many people who have switched from JB3 to Proceed and many people who have switched from the Proceed to the JB3, so you should have a lot of advice from those. A few guys have both units and swap them out occasionally. I am not going to say much as I am bias towards the JB3, but take the time to read different reviews and opinions and make up your mind. Also you should state your budget as the JB3 can be had for as little as 349.00 (Pin-out) which is significantly cheaper then the competition. If going with the JB3 I would recommend the PnP version which is more, but only 579.00 currently. Good luck! Mike |

Remember that the tune is only one part of the package that you will probably need/want. You will also probably want a pnp harness for reliability, safety and ease of removal. As well as the ability to read and clear tuner codes (for dealership visits). User adjustability is also useful. In the case of the JB3, this involves also getting a $300 BT tool/software and a Tuning gauge. All this is built-in to the PROcede. As well as offering a speed delimiter, built-in o2 sim, CANbus logging, on-the-fly mapswithing, and actual ignition control. All of this can be mistaken for simple marketing. So the suggestion to try both still stands Shiv |

Just as with any important purchase, do your homework and make the decision that best works for you. I have been on this forum for awhile and I can vouch for the safety, integrity and performance of the JB3 and Procede options.

Although its alot of nonsense sometimes on these boards, truthfully speaking you can't really go wrong with either tunes.

+1... Affordability was my decision..You can either go with JB3($579) + BT Tool($287 optional) or Vishnu($1050). Either one does it's job...
