need a help for my friend please help!

my friend has a e92 335i 08....

and yesterday he got into an accident that damaged his whole front and 2 other cars.. and he said one car is unfixable

and he had loan around 40k

fortunately no one got hurt..

What is most likely to happen next?

he will make a claim all the costs to his insurance company.

I am not sure what this has to do with this forum.

Seems like you are looking for legal/insurance/procedural advice, and I would rather prefer other forums over this one for such advice.

The car isn't worth $40K so he'll probably have to come up with the difference.

His insurance will go up, and he'll owe the difference between the actual and owed values of the car (unless he got gap insurance).
