Lightbulb Effect of 2010 Cars on Used Car Prices?

So I'm pretty much set on getting a car next week, however I just started thinking about something. When the 2010 models are released, are prices on used (2006/2007) cars going to drop and if so by how much? (rough estimate is cool).

I've located some decent deals (a couple of 2006 325i's with listed prices of under $19 with less than 50k miles) but nothing major and nothing with every option I'm looking for in the car. If things are going to change up a bit in the next month I may consider waiting a bit longer to purchase but it's really hard not to pull the trigger already after lurking here for the past few weeks. Thanks a lot!

Don't think you'll see any noticable difference just because the 2010s are out - the 3 series holds its value very well regardless. There is no change for the E90/91 (sedan/touring) for MY 2010. E92/93 (coupe/convertible) cars will receive a minor face lift, as the E90/91 did for MY 2009.

I assume you're looking at a sedan since you're considering a 2006 325, so wait for the right one to come along and scoop it up! And post pictures too, we all love pictures here.

I bet the price for the coupes will drop a bit with the facelift, seems like the price gap widened between the coupe and sedan when the 09 LCI came out.
