Thank You: TMR & xPaulBaiLeyx
I just wanted to publicly say thank you to these 2 members of E90post, true examples of what our community is all about.
TMR: I sold TMR my tires last week & I took them out to his neighborhood, I took my truck, stopped for gas about a mile away from TMR's shop & my truck dies at the gas station, it had been having trouble starting previous to that so it wasn't a big surprise but I just didn't think it would completely stop turning over. I call TMR to give him a time update, he comes & meets me at the gas station, we diagnose the car, check MAF because I heard it could be that, we come to the conclusion that it's the fuel pump. I don't have AAA, like an idiot, but TMR has a tow service, he calls a tow truck for me, sits on the phone with these ppl for 30 minutes while they "diagnose" the situation & then waits an additional hour w/ me until the tow truck comes! His tow service covered up to $50 dollars so I only payed $85 to tow about 25 miles, honestly, TMR was a life saver that night. xPaulBaiLeyx: I'm in a bit of a bind, I have to pick up a boost gauge & oil pressure gauge from Gruppe-S in Lake Forest before 6PM which is 55 miles from my work & I don't get off work until 5/5:30 so I write Paul & ask him if he lives anywhere near Lake Forest, he says, "No, not really, it's about 30 miles.." I say, fuck! He then asks why & i explain the situation, w/out me even asking & w/out hesitation Paul offers to pick them up for me so that I can have them cuz he knows I urgently need them for this magazine my car is shooting for tomorrow! He picks them up for me, ends up havign to work in LA that night & meets me off the exit of the 5 to my house & seriously makes my life so easy that day! Thanks again to both you guys! Definitely couldn't have done either of those things w/out you guys.
