Cylinder 2 & 3 misfire.......

I've been getting P0302 and P0303 and P0300 codes ever since I loaded the 7-03 maps...........Does this have to do with the beta maps you think?

Or is it something else, like faulty coils?

FWIW, I'm running stage 3.

TIA

Are there better plugs available? I just changed all 6 with OEM Bosch plugs..........

How often do we have to change the plugs on a tuned car? I thought once a year would be sufficient...........

TIA

i would put my money on the plugs...personally i pulled mine off before i bought new plugs. even with a tune once a year seems a bit much unless you're putting 20,000+/year

yeah, I thought once a year is a bit much too!! So if I change the plugs again, and that happens to be the issue, then I have changed plugs twice in a year!! WAY TOO MUCH, wouldn't you say?

That's why I thought it might have been something else, since my plugs are fairly new.......If you know what I mean.

TIA

Before you blow the money on plugs. Swap coil 1 with coil 2, then swap coil 4 with coil 3. If the misfires follow the swap to 1 and 4, then it is bad coil packs.

I concur. I would add that if the misfires continue at the same location, move the plugs in the same manner. If it persists at the same location, that would most likely be a fuel injector.

Doesn't always work, but it can help isolate the problem.

Ok, my next question is probably a stupid one.........

Is cylinder 1 towards the front of the engine or towards the back........LOL.

That way I know which way to count and won't get the wrong cylinder.......

TIA

Do you think it could also be cause by my CL DPs? As someone had suggested? I figure, if that was the issue, I would have encountered this a long time ago. As I've had the CL DPs for about a year now......

TIA
