ABS Waring Lignt and Alarm
I was driving home from a quick get away over the 4th of July weekend, driving on cruse control about 85 mph, changed lanes into a few small puddles of water in the left lane of traffic and out of no where I get an ABS warning light and alarm, cruse control shuts off and will no longer set. This is the first issue I have had with my 07 335i. I drove over 1300 miles on my ED in very poor weather rained almost every day and have never had any issues in the rain prior to this. I don't usually drive my car in bad weather but sometimes you get caught out in it.
Has Anyone else had this issue? I have an appointment tommorrow at my local dealer to hopefully find out what happened. Of course now that I am home and the car has sat in the garage for a day the warning light is now cleared. I tried to clear the light by turning the car off on a stop on the way home but it would not clear that day. Red

I got my car back from the dealer yesterday, however I am still scratching my head over the solution. The mechanic said he checked all the error codes, adjusted the hydraulics associated with the ABS system, test drove the car and the warning light came on again.
He checked the error codes from the second time the warning light came on and got a speed sensor code from the LR wheel. After evaluating the issue again he changed the LR wheel bearing. I still can't figure out how a wheel bearing could cause the ABS waring issue, but the warning has not returned so that must have been the issue. Another surprising thing about the wheel bearing is my car only has 17,400 miles on it. The bearing must have had a small defect since the car was built. Bottom line is the problem appears to be solved. Red
