How do you get rid of that annoying seatbelt sound?

how do you lower it or just get rid of it???

But surely the belt chime doesn't kick in until you have travelled over 5mph..........I can sit in my car with the engine running with no chime.

You get rid of the signal by puttin on the seatbelt.

One trick I used in the past is to route the seatbelt through the back of the seat and let it connected all the time...

fella's there has to be an easy way to get at the wires in the belt buckle under the drivers seat. People have been defeating this system since MB introduced it in the early 70's by simply unplugging the wires under the offending seat. Those systems would default to a closed circut once disabled.

I also found this very annoying, couldn't they've make it that it will start the signal once the car starts moving? Whats the meaning of it to remember you before start moving.

Should change my habit as well then...
