Dimisa 4 " tips

just took my ride to the muffler shop to get the 4" Dimisa tips
installed..and the shop owner told me that the tips will stick out 2 " further
than stock..so I told them not to install them. Do they really stick out
that much further than stock?..or do the tips need to be cut..the owner said he could cut them , but the weld would not be ideal. I noticed the exhaust valve in the driver rear that prevents the tip from going any further back.
just a little disappointed because I spent 180 bucks on the tips and was hoping that they would be almost as flush/stock-like against the rear bumper..any one with these tips have any pics, tips, pointers, or advice? Love the tips but WILL NOT install them if they're gonna look all " ricey ". thanks in advance.

You need to cut further back on the exhaust, these will sit just like the factory tips when installed properly. Have your shop (or try a different shop) cut further back so they sit further back.

I got the same tips installed about a month ago. They are pretty flush with the bumper, maybe .5 inch further out than stock. It all depends on where they weld it at, but they should be able to make it flush. Sorry I don't have any pics....

Like stated already, just cut back on the stock exhaust, line it up and weld.Dont even think about cutting the new tips. The first shop should have known,so dont go back to those idiots.
