Beta Testers: Are you still on your stock battery?
Hows your 2006 E9X holding up? I'm at 60K+ and some times I get a slow start.
Danny

My battery was replaced at 3K miles. Apparently, it had a dead cell and wouldn't hold a charge. The replacement they put in at the dealer was checked and it was a bad battery as well, but luckily, they found that out before they gave the car back to me.

My E90 is a April '06 build. Delivered on May 22, 2006. I'm at 85,000 miles. Still on the original battery. I also have a 1999 Ford F-150 with 93,000 miles still on the original Motorcraft battery (the battery out lasted the exhaust manifolds). And I have a 1999 Honda Valkyrie Interstate (motorcycle) with 55,000 miles still on the original battery (I keep it on a Tender in the winter).
I guess I have good battery karma... |

E90 still has the original battery 111k miles, E46 died at 6 years and 130k miles.
Assuming you have a good battery to start with and you drive your car enough to keep it charged it should last at least 5 years here in Cali.
