Weird: parked car ventilation

SO I found out about this feature on this site! Thanks!
THen I read the manual, and set it up to try it out.

Totally forgot about it, so today, I went to my car, about 30 minutes after I had set it up previousely.
I get to the car and all 4 windows are open.

Is that what it's supposed to do?

I dont think its really safe of a feature. Car was in my garage, but had it been in a parking lot, I dont think it would have been ideal.

Any ideas?

Sounds like you may have leaned on the remote at some point causing all windows to go down. Was the sunroof open too? This is a great feature for when you first get to you car to let all the hot air out before getting in.

The ventilation on blows air, or is only supposed to blow air. I used it all the time.

The question came up on the XBimmer side where somebody came out to his car in public parking and the windows were all down.

A couple of the forum members mentioned it had happened to them as well, and if you accidentally hold one of you key fob button long enough the windows will all open.

Apparently, someone may have sat on his key fob or leaned against it in his pocket.

FWIW - cheers.

I was sure some1 would ask if I sat on my key! LOL

No no, I didnt! My key is always in my jacket. I never have it in my pocket, so that rules this one out. Plus, the sunroof wasnt open either.

The windows werent all the way down, I'd say 50% back and 75% front.

I'll see if it does it again tomorrow.

Thanks!
