Why would he sell these in pairs? Who needs more than one unless you do many pit stops and plan on using two jacks simultaneously?

You buy them in pairs so you can use 2 jack stands. Do a search for the jack point - it's the front & rear cross members.

These aren't made for jack stands, they're made for jacks. I've never seen a jack stand with a circular top section that'd match up with shape of these jack pad adapters.

DO NOT USE THESE FOR JACK STANDS! Like rubber ducky said. They are used for the jack. Hopefully I have just saved someone's life (or leg, or arm, or head). See photo below. BSM 135i, if you're going to be a distributor for this product you may want to be more explicit with your description (for liability sake) of how these are used as it is obvious by the responses above that some people don't know what/how the adapters are used for.
