Boost-numbers with BT?

Hi, my 08 E93 335ia has Jb3 (map 4 now), code 3 IC. I did record the torque values (engine torque actual value) and got 498nm (367lb-ft). Are these the real torque values?

Howabout recording the boost of turbos, is it possible with BT?

Thanks,

Kaba

Garage List
There has to be some sort of guide for the BT scanner out there.

There are a lot of live values you can see but I am not sure what all of them are.
If there was a list that showed you some of the key things such as intake temperature, boost, rpm, mph, engine load, on a graph would be nice.
I know they are there, but mixed in with hundreds of other things and it gets confusing to see which one you are actually looking for if you want engine load or intake temp.

Yes, there are hundrets of variables. Intake temp etc are easy to find and record. Ive tried to find boost, but dont find it. Maybe its in "techical language" and thats why...i will tonight go through all the options again.

You going to have to find a box that says pressure infront of throttle. When you log, it will bring up figures like this:
Pressure in front of throttle valve
101.00
102.00
104.00
101.00
99.00
100.00
103.00
99.00
102.00
106.00
108.00
115.00
131.00
156.00
174.00
162.00
168.00
164.00
169.00
169.00
166.00
197.00
139.00
111.00
101.00

These figures are in kPa (kilopascals where 100KPa=1bar=14.5psi). These figures include the ambient pressure which in my case was 85.0 which need to be subtracted to get extra boost. The ambient pressure can also be found on one of the tick boxes.

Enjoy.

In terms of the torque figure you finding in newton meters its relative accurate as a before and after tool although I have found the figure changes relative to the load and boost. When I installed a Helix cooler recently I noticed this figure jumped up by 30nm and I could feel it so it is accurate.
