TPM malfunction after BMS intake install??

Hi Guys, I'am new here. Been reading up on the forums for a while but this is my first actual post. I recently bought a 2007 335i with 9k miles on it and installed the BMS dual cone intake.

The install went fine, but after 10 to 15 miles the TPM malfunction light came on.

I'am really confused since I thought the sensors were on the tires. Anyone have any ideas on what I should be checking? I tried resetting it through though the Navi with no luck.

Thanks in advance!
Lee

1. Pull in to gas station
2. Deposit 0.75c
3. Fill low tire

Voila.

(I have a hole in one of my tires and after refilling with proper amount of air sometimes the TPM will read in error for several hours - eventually it will correct itself)

you don't have to pay in CA
as long as you buy (i dont know the exact amount though) gas, the gas station is required to provide you with either air or water free of charge for like 5-10 minutes

if you need a lot, fill up like $10, get air/water. then fill up another 10, and continue lol

Sweet, thanks for the info guys, I accidentally posted this thread one to many times (sorry for that)...think I'am losing it lol. Before I left for work I did actually notice the ront left tire looking a tad low. Wonder what the point of the TPM is if it malfunctions whenever a tires low though
