I don't see why people would buy mid pipes personally. If you want to keep your cats and get new mufflers, then get what they are calling an axle-back "exhaust". If you want to delete the 2ndary cats then get a full exhaust (DP-back). If you just want to keep your "stock exhaust" and get rid of the 2ndary cats hell just take the exhaust off and knock all the stuff out of your cats (or just have simple pipes welded on in place of the stock cats you just cut off.
I just don't see where buying mid-pipes would ever be in demand |

Also, if you have the slip joints made for the midpipes I could see it being pretty easy to switch back to stock...Just slip of the catless and slip in the oem pipes.

There is no welding involved in installing the midpipes, but you do have to cut the stock exhaust. Now if you want to reinstall the stock cats then you need to weld your old pipes back on. Thats where the vendors get tricky on you saying "no welding required!!!" haha
