If the engine is running roughly, it may seem like the exhaust is vibrating. But if you have the stock exhaust on your car, that's probably not your problem. Anyway, it might help if you posted more info about your car when asking a troubleshooting question. What engine/exhaust mods are you running, etc.

The car will sound louder and vibrate when its running rough. Bring it in. Or be more specific.

haha, this is the first time I've ever heard of anyone saying they need an "exhaust change"... it's not like an oil change, exhausts hardly if ever need to be replaced unless it doesn't pass smog checks, and thats usually just replacing the cats.

ugh, you're probably right, but thats what i heard from the dealers, and im copying their words here, heh.

And the exhausts are stock exhausts, no mod, nothing at all, just all stock car, the sound of the exhaust are just worst and louder when the Engine faulty reducing power thing pop up, and when i shift up at 2000-3000 RPM there's a critical sound appear from the exhaust, feeling it like its under the car, from the middle ....
I'm changing the garage on monday, because the dealers are playing lame, and i'm going to get my car scanned again . but seriously the engine faulty thing is getting so annoying, like popping up every 20 minutes maybe, and after the car need to be turned off and turned on again for a restart, and it goes fine until another 20 mins. Well about the fuel pump, they already changed it but im not sure if they SET it well, because the car worked fine for 2 weeks after changing the hpfp, and again the engine faulty thing comes again, and getting worse... I asked them for the diagnostic scanner report, they ignored me, saying they dont give that out, lol, i asked them again what would be the problem about the engine faulty thing, they told me maybe its time for an " exhaust change " as i asked earlier.. and they said maybe its the vanos too need to be repaired, but they can't know if it needs to be repaired or not until they take out the engine and open it and check it by them self... i think thats totally false because it would appear as an error code on the scanner, the vanos got an error code... like wtf everything happens inside the engine you need to open it to check it out? SURE NOT thats why they made scanners i think... and the dealer said its gonna cost me 3k USD just to open up the engine, lol... so im still lost between the vanos or the exhausts... and idk how to be sure whats the real problem, and about the dealers, they are doing that because i didn't bought the bmw from them, i shipped it from OUTSIDE, so nothing new about the dealers games...
