125i software advice??

i have a 125i coupe which has the same engine as your guys 128i.
unfortunately we dont have the e90 328i here, so the closest engine that i could think off was the 130i hatch.. so i tried loading that software onto mine.. but it didnt work.

the software companies here could only promise an extra 10kw more, not too sure wat hp that is, but its not much , especially for a detuned 2996cc engine, with a full exhaust and decat.

sum info:
125i (2996cc) - 160kw
325i (2495cc) - 160kw
130i (2996cc) - 195kw

so there is alot of potential for our 125i/128i engines.. just how to do it??

Yeah, information on this is scarce, i have the 125i too, it's hard to find any information on exactly what the differences are between the 130 and 125 engines. There must be some hardware differences.. am not sure what would be necessary to get the extra juice out of it.

I find the 125i's got loads of torque from the very start of the rev range, does the 130 feel the same i wonder? sometimes you lose bottom end if you try to get the engine developing more power up high, which would reduce driveability imo.. also is the 130i power delivery as smooth as the 125i?

I'd be quite interested to have a cruise in a 130i to see the difference in the engines.

How's the car run with exhaust and decat?

definately a big differrence in power after the decat.. engine revs up much smoother and to a lil ova 7000rpm. The exhaust i did a week later purely for the sound, and was very impressed with the result.. enyoying that deep 3litre tone at low revs and m3-like scream at high revs.

the major hardware difference to a 130 is the intake manifold.. but that aside i still wanna see more power out of my car

Cool, and when you removed the cats, did you just basically cut them out and get high flow cats put in their place, or you removed them altogether?
