Help: transmission jerk when coming to full stop

Hi all,

Im new to this forum andI just purchased a used 05 320i.
Ive noticed that the transmission will jerk a little bit prior to a full stop
its been quite annoying, Ive searched the forum but there seems to be no cure to this? or a simple software update will cure this problem?

has anyone have similar cases!

thanks

Sounds like the torque converter disengaging at idle. There's probably a software update for this kind of thing--335's used to the same issue when new and there was an SIB prescribing progman updates at customer's request... Whether BMWHK will do this for you out of warranty is a different issue though--ISTA/Progman updates don't come free and there's labor involved in what they call "coding the computer"

how many km you done in the car if it is about 450k to 500k then I would change the fluid and the filter also do a reset on the gearbox computer.
I reset my every 4 months to smooth it out.
