I used to make the turbo sounds with my mouth back in my old car. I used to go PSSSSSSS and people thought I was crazy but I sure showed them! I used to get an extra 100 WHP when I use to make those sounds!

The golf tee mod does nothing but make the exhaust a little louder during cold start. When i tried it i heard no difference at all when driving the car, only during cold start.Went back to stock the next day.IMO it does zero, except during start up (cold).

well, you would be wrong. since the valve is open ALL the time it's noticeably louder at low rpms.

You're hearing your turbo's failing.. congratulations.

Why people don't just unplug the connection in the trunk amazes me.

I'm just kidding, hate the feeling.. you're in warranty though so no worries. Do as was mentioned before.. plug it back in and see if you still hear them. This mod "should" have no effect other than exhaust note upon cold start up and maybe some very minor droning around 2.3-2.6k highway.
