BIG PROBLEM...need all the help i can get
Ok first off I'm going to list my mods.. Jb3 1.2, ar dps, and bms dci. Today I was driving home from the shore for my bday and I slowed down to pass the toll and after I got over 40mph my rpm flutters a bit, I hit a engine malfuction, I heard a bang from my diff I think, and my car was shaking like crazy as if I guess my tires weren't balnced. What the hell is wrong with my car. I called my tech and explaind and he's not sure he said it can be many diff promblems if anyone knows please let me know asap

Are you able to raise the car to see if anything came loose? Can you still drive it? Better to have it properly raised at your nearest tire shop to see if you can see anything loose. Do not take the car to the dealer with the mods on - take out jb3; take off DCI. It is more difficult to remove the DPs - but if the bang sound came from the "diff" area the dealer will check the entire exhaust area including DPs. But first check yourself before rushing to the dealer. I had an entire custom and catless exhaust system with RRacing DPs and took the car for servicing as is and never had any hassle - but one can never be too comfortable.
It cannot be the JB3. Check DCI piping - maybe connector popped out. Check DPs and exhaust pipes. It is pretty hard for the DPs to simply pop off/out but check the connections. Keep us updated.

The shaking can because of the warning light. What happens if you turn off and back on the car?
Is there still the mailfunction light?

I haven't had a chance to take a look at the car. The only thing I can think of that I might be is the dps because I got them installed a week ago. The car shook while moving and at N..even my shift knob shakes so much. When I happened I pulled over and turn on and off the car. At first it was ok but then I hit 40 and the same shit. then I pulled over again and popped my hood to see if everything was ok and it seems like it so I started it again and drove way but this time the shaking and everythin else stopped I was able to make it home going 60 all the time. I was scared I didn't want to call AAA and get towed. So basically my birthday sucks right now

Once I turned on and off the car the limp light went away and yes I'm sure the lugs are tight ill check but even if they weren't I highly doubt. Its from the lugs cuz even when it was parked it was shaking

might be a fuel pomp, might be that the car is in stress mode. Remove the non standards and return to the dealer...
No BT tool around by accident? Or OBD Reader?

Check to see if all your lug nuts are still on each tire. Also look and see if any of your wheels are moving in and out/bent. Was the bang an exhaust sound or a metal sound?

Yea my friend as a BT but I can only pick it up after he's done with work. I hope its not fuel pump. and no I'm pretty sure the sound was from the diff because after the bang I felt the car push forward

My guess is fuel pump also. I had the same issue with my 1st bad fuel pump. Once I hit 40-45, limp mode, and car was shaking. I pulled over cause I thought I had a flat.
How much gas is in the tank?? Try filling it up, and dont let it get below half a tank. |

Yea I won't lie but I would always laugh when people on here would have FP failure. I would never of thought I would get one but I guess I jinxed myself or maybe it was just my time lol.
Does anyone know anything about the other codes like my misfires and that tranny one? I tried downloading that file that Mr.5 made but for some reason I can't do it(I have a mac)

Don't be too alarmed by all the codes. Some were simply triggered because of the FP failure.
Some of the codes relate to the DP. Do you have catless DPs? Do you have an 02 sim installed? You will continue to get the 30/1.....and 29...codes. How many miles on the car? Will have to replace the sparkplugs to fix the missfires but eventually you will have to resolve the DP issue.
