Have 08, Want 09... suggestions?

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
I've decided I'm a huge fan of the sedona red... and either my GF is going to buy my SGM 135i from me or I'm going to sell it. Plus, I really want to upgrade to an 09. But I'm trying to minimize cost to trade up 1 model year.

Any thoughts or suggestions on what the best plan of action would be to minimize cost in trading up? Car fully paid for, so no lease to trade up on.

Short of finding someone who decided they really don't want an 09 Sedona after they bought it, I am not sure what else you can do other than check trade-in value or look on the private market.

Very true. Probably didn't need to ask, but I was hoping that maybe, just maybe, someone bought a sedona red and just had that change of heart.

Might get better responses in the General discussion forum. I too want an 09 model, but just for the anthracite headliner and pedals. So pissed we didn't get offered these for the 08's. Good luck

Yeah, same boat. Heck, might just be cheaper to swap for an 08, upgrade the warranty and buy an OEM anthracite headliner.

Just get the pedals and Anthracite headliner from Dan @ United and install it yourself. You'll save far more money versus the bath you'll take on a trade in.

This makes no sense at all. You are going to get beat on depreciation.

I'd just chalk it up to bad luck and deal with what you have.

If you trade it in, you will save on taxes. At least here, you only pay tax on the difference.
